Indiana Lead risk assessments

Bluemoose is experienced in Indiana Lead Risk Assessments for Indiana Health Departments. These assessments are performed to ensure that children are not at risk of developing elevated blood lead levels (EBLLs). EBLLs in children are a concern because it can cause various health issues including behavioral problems, learning disabilities, seizures, and even death. Areas where children are at risk for EBLLs are assessed, sampled as needed, and reported to the Indiana Department of Health ILEAD System. A portable/handheld x-ray fluorescent (XRF) analyzer and collection of soil, dust wipe, water, and/or paint chip samples are utilized to perform the lead risk assessment.
